Re: Backup copy to region failing for 2nd setting
Note I tested this again after upgrading to the new version 3.3 and it still has the same problem.

Upgrade from 3.2 to 3.3 fails
I just tried upgrading from 3.2 to 3.3. It appears to work but the app then won't run correctly and comes up with a dialog saying it can't find the AutomatiCloud MSI file. To work around this I completely uninstalled 3.2 and even manually deleted the folder from the Program Files directory. I was th...

Re: Backup copy to region failing for 2nd setting
Thanks for getting back to me on this Stephan. I have both my 'default' and 'Ireland' setting using the same Access & Secret Key. This access key maps to a global IAM user with the following permission policy: { "Version": "2012-10-17", "Statement": [ { "Effect...

Backup copy to region failing for 2nd setting
Hi, I have AutomatiCloud v3.2.638.2241 running under a purchased license. I have the 'default' setting set up for region 'ap-southeast-2' (Sydney). Under this setting I have a number of 'Backup EC2 Instance' jobs defined that also copy the snapshots to region 'ap-northeast-1' (Tokyo). These jobs wor...

Re: AutomatiCloud as a service?
Sorry to hear you can't reproduce. Some additional information if it helps:
> I'm guessing it's happening as the machine I'm hosting it on is a very slow/old computer that takes ages to boot up.
> I've tested against the latest version (3.1) and the results are the same.

Awesome!
One further suggestion if you're interested would be to add the Job Name as a column in the "Log" tab of the UI.

Re: AutomatiCloud as a service?
Hi Stephan, I've done as you suggested but unfortunately it is failing to start at system startup without logging anything via log4net. Note I confirmed my DEBUG level config change was okay as it logs DEBUG messages when I start and stop the service manually. However nothing is being added to the l...

Re: AutomatiCloud as a service?
FYI I was having the same problem. The service was failing to start on computer startup with the "Service Control Manager" reporting that it "did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion". I tried "Automatic (Delayed Start)" also but had the same ...

Able to name jobs & include name in notification emails?
Firstly, well done on creating such a useful tool! A feature suggestion: Would it be possible to allow jobs to be custom named? And if so could those names be included in notification emails? I've currently got some jobs set up to create daily snapshots. However it's not easy to tell which job is fo...
