Email Notification Failing

Hi Stephan,

We're currently trialing AutomatiCloud, specially using EBS Snapshot jobs, on a GFS basis with EBS selection via Tag selection.

I'm finding that the email notification is troublesome.
We use AWS SES for all email notifications on port 465 with SSL enabled.

I have configured the service with VERBOSE logging and run a job and attached the log to this ticket.

Could you please advise what you think the issue may be.

Can you please try again with the SMTP settings recommended in this article:

They use port: 587 and a specific set of credentials.

Hi Stephan,

AWS SES can actually use (3) different ports, being 25, 465 and 587.
Changing to 587 has resolved the issue.

Just FYI, before I changed the AutomatiCloud job to GFS, I was using both 25 and 465 with SSL successfully.

Thanks for your suggestion - all good now with 587 SSL.
