not able to understand backup policy in version 3.3

I have just downloaded the application and trying to setup RDS backup, but I am little confuse about the backup options so can you please explain the option https://www.screencast.com/t/xG0R4pf66Y

This setting will

• keep your daily backups for 30 days. Daily backups will only be done on Mondays.
• The daily backups done on Mondays will be kept as weekly backups for 7 weeks.
• Backups done on the 1st of every month will be treated as monthly and kept for 12 months.
