Database Snapshot by tag?

I am using your product as a replacement to another which fell short on delivering an updated package to work with the recent change to https endpoints for APIs with AWS.

Your product is working fine for stops/starts of EC2 instances. But, I am trying to snapshot some database servers at night according to a tag.

Does the tag method work with snapshots as well?

You can create ebs snapshots by tag. But you have to tag the volumes not the instances.
